OBMI was chosen as one of 23 featured designers in the 2024 Kips Bay Designer Show House Palm Beach. Our team’s design, “Golden Hour,” transforms one of the luxury residence’s guest rooms into a storied retreat, a space crafted to renew one’s spirit in unabashed luxury. Meticulously curated to become a living collection of a lifetime of adventures and memories, “Golden Hour” was envisioned as the quintessence of a worldly wanderer who gathered a lifetime’s worth of stories and keepsakes from their travels.

“Golden Hour” seeks to connect visitors to the space through a journey that ignites the creative spirit with its unique selection of compelling accessories, furnishings, textures, and art. The rich, natural materials, organic shapes, and natural tones bring a sense of tranquility, while the bronze sculptures and gold finishes deliver a timeless, sophisticated atmosphere fitting the home’s setting.

For almost 50 years, the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has celebrated the best of interior design by transforming a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art, and technology. In 2017, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club then expanded the brand to Palm Beach, and in 2020, it hosted another showcase in Dallas. The event is the nation’s leading design event and the non-profit’s top fundraiser of the year.

OBMI looks forward to sharing the realization of “Golden Hour” at the Show House, which will be open to the public for one month beginning Friday, February 23, 2024.
