Oil Nut Bay, a stunning luxury boutique resort in the British Virgin Islands, recently unveiled its new design renovation for its luxury Beach Club. Travel to the destination just got easier with new direct flights from Miami to the BVI on American Airlines, with the new route starting this June.

The resort’s biophilic design renovation to its Beach Club was created and led by OBMI. The design intent was imagined for the club to serve as a standalone destination or a desired amenity within the resort community as a whole. Whether visiting for a day, or as a long-term guest, designers have created an elevated experience refined to the premier destination through refined and imaginative interiors. Upon entering the Beach Club, the design creates a grand sense of arrival to evoke a true sense of place. Guests then enjoy a journey of masterful discovery, captivating details and elegant fittings that honor the majestic surroundings to bring sophistication, peace, and positive energy.

As wellness and sustainability are priority in this Caribbean paradise, the interiors take inspiration from the surrounding natural world and infuse the local culture to awaken the senses. Organic shapes, colors, and the sweeping curves of the furniture blend the indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a seamlessly open space that uses the natural environment as the backdrop. The oversized daybeds and cabanas foster a sense of renewal and set the stage for a restful experience. Soft lighting, coupled with thoughtful placements of local flora, bring island living to a new height of luxury.

The remote resort is spread across 400 exquisite acres on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, with half of its acreage remaining designated green space. Created by developer David V. Johnson with a passion for sustainability, the resort offers guests immersive nature activities ranging that teach them about the local wildlife, how to harmonize with nature for a balanced wellness journey, and how to live as environmental stewards. Guests can avail themselves of a host of custom-designed private suites and villas sprinkled into the island’s topography.

The resort’s eco-minded rentals offer incredible views and perks ranging from private pools, outdoor kitchens and electric golf carts. Relax and enjoy the reimagined Beach Club with an updated restaurant space, a new menu concept, and a new private dining area. Additional amenities include three-tiered pool with swim-up bar; wellness center with gym, tennis and pickleball courts; equipment for watersports ranging from wing foiling to diving; onsite barn for rescued animals; Nova overwater restaurant and bar; 93-slip marina; Nut House Kids Club; world-class dining options; and hiking trails with sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea.

New wellness journeys include everything from a full moon ceremony to reiki/energy healing, while eco-adventures entail a turtle tagging adventure and a children’s range program around the island. Nightly villa rentals range from $650 to $30,000 per night, homesites range from $2.95 million to $29.5 million and fully furnished luxury homes from $4.25 million to $39.5 million.
