Ahmed Farrag brings nearly two decades of experience delivering complex, large-scale projects across the Middle East to his role as Associate Principal and Country Director for Dubai and KSA at OBMI.
Working across these markets, he leads project delivery and supports the firm’s regional growth, guiding multidisciplinary teams with a clear and pragmatic approach. He is known for his ability to manage complexity with precision, ensuring that ambitious projects are carried through from concept to completion with clarity and control.
Ahmed’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and major mixed-use developments. He has led projects from early design stages through construction documentation and site delivery, bringing a strong understanding of technical standards, regulatory frameworks, and life safety requirements. His work is defined by careful coordination across disciplines and a commitment to delivering projects that meet both design intent and operational demands.
Before joining OBMI, Ahmed held senior roles at leading international firms, including Dar Al Handasah and Saudi Diyar Consulting, where he managed high-profile developments across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt. This experience has given him a deep familiarity with regional practices and client expectations, as well as the ability to navigate complex approval processes and stakeholder environments with confidence.
