Andrés Osorio brings more than twenty-eight years of global experience in hospitality design to his role as Associate Principal, Hospitality at OBMI.

Having spent over two decades with the firm, he has played a central role in shaping its hospitality practice, guiding projects with a clear design vision and a collaborative approach. He is known for leading multidisciplinary teams and helping clients define the vision for their projects from the earliest stages of planning and development. His work is guided by the belief that the most meaningful destinations are inspired by the culture, landscape, and people of a place, creating architecture that feels authentic, timeless, and connected to its surroundings.

His experience spans luxury resorts, branded residences, private villas, master-planned communities, and large-scale destination developments across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with leading hospitality brands including Four Seasons, Rosewood, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Waldorf Astoria, and Six Senses, along with a number of highly regarded boutique luxury operators such as Royal Mansour, Seaside Hotels, Curtain Bluff, and Boutique Group. He has also contributed to the design and planning of several palatial developments in the Middle East.

Beyond his project work, Andrés plays a key role in advancing design culture within the firm. He leads OBMI's Hospitality University, an internal initiative that supports learning through research, mentorship, academic engagement, and real-world experience. Through this work, he helps develop emerging talent while strengthening hospitality knowledge and design excellence across OBMI's global studios.

Outside of his professional work, Andrés draws inspiration from travel, hospitality experiences, and the exploration of different cultures. These experiences continue to inform his perspective and his approach to creating destinations that foster meaningful connections between people and place.
