Jake Chalmers brings a strategic perspective on placemaking, storytelling, and long-term vision to his role as a member of OBMI’s Board.
As Chief Executive Officer of Storydriven Inc., he works with organizations around the world to help shape the narratives and strategies that guide meaningful places and destinations.
With more than 25 years of experience in the resort, hospitality, and property development industries, Jake has led envisioning sessions and storytelling initiatives for projects across the globe. His work has supported destinations such as Whistler Blackcomb, Four Seasons, Rosewood Hotels, Alterra Mountain Resorts, and Relais and Châteaux, among many others. Through this work, he helps clients articulate the ideas and identities that shape memorable places.
In addition to leading Storydriven Inc. and serving on several boards, Jake is a member of the Young Presidents Organization. He lives in West Vancouver, Canada with his wife and three children.
A passionate traveler with a deep curiosity about culture and place, Jake draws inspiration from the landscapes and communities he encounters around the world. These experiences continue to inform his approach to storytelling, strategy, and placemaking.
