Jamie Webb brings a thoughtful and purpose-driven approach to his role as Associate Principal at OBMI.
Based in London, he leads the studio while working closely with global teams and clients to shape narrative-led design strategies across hospitality, residential, and mixed-use projects. His work is grounded in a belief that architecture has the power to create meaningful places that support communities and contribute to a more sustainable future. His approach very much focuses on the end user experience layered with practical operational overlays and underpinned by a bespoke approach to place and culture.
With nearly two decades of international experience, Jamie has worked across master planning, urban regeneration, and architectural design in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He has held senior leadership roles at internationally recognized firms, where he led multidisciplinary teams and delivered complex, large-scale developments. His experience spans from hospitality led mixed-use, branded-residential and regeneration projects, to key public buildings. These internationally recognized projects include the Savill Building, Windsor, The Zhuhai International Conference Centre, Ashjar Living, Al Barari in Dubai as well as notable luxury hotel projects in Tajikistan, Africa and the Middle East.
Jamie is particularly interested in the role of hospitality as a catalyst for community, long-term value and place regeneration. He believes that the most successful destinations are those embedded within their local context, supporting local economies, engaging with artisans and makers, and contributing to the social fabric of a place whilst connecting with wider international brands and culture. Through this lens, his work explores how hospitality can move beyond traditional models to create more inclusive and connected environments and touch every aspect of daily life.
Outside of his professional work, Jamie combines his time between his family, travelling, coaching football and golf. These experiences continue to inform his perspective and approach to design. Jamie is currently combining his passion of sport and specifically golf across a number of projects creating the generation of integrated golf and hospitality estates.
